The Spectrum Singers Board of Directors Is Seeking New Members!

Dear Community Member,

The Spectrum Singers board of directors is seeking new members; are you interested in joining us?

Spectrum Singers is an all-inclusive and intergenerational SATB (all vocal ranges) choir based here in Spokane, WA. Our mission is that through the power of song, we empower and unite the community, amplify diverse voices and serve as a catalyst for positive social change. Having started in Fall of 2018, the Spectrum Singers have had the opportunity to sing at Spokane Pride, the SAN AIDS Walk, and our own seasonal concerts.  The chorus is not currently meeting in person, but preparing for rehearsals to resume in early 2022 with guidance from community partners and choral experts operating during COVID.

We are a working board that helps Spectrum Singers live its mission by planning concerts, rehearsals, fundraisers, staying connected in the community, and much more. Many board members focus their service on a passion area such as marketing, fundraising, or membership while others give back to Spectrum Singers as officers or completing other tasks. Please note that you are not required to be an active singing member of the choir to serve on the board, though you are more than welcome to sing. Spectrum Singers values diversity and we are striving to have a diverse board of directors.  We need members like you to help us move towards the future.  Even if you don’t have experience in a leadership role, please consider joining the team and giving back. This is a great way to stay involved and make a difference while being a part of the Spectrum Singers community.

Anyone who is interested is asked to send a letter of interest to info@spokanespectrumsingers.com that shares a little about yourself and why you wish to serve on the board of directors. We will begin reviewing letters on December 10th, so it is recommended you submit your letter by then.  Additional information about the board of directors is attached below.
